Kyou huffed in frustration but tried to ward off the stranger calmly. But in all honesty, it was becoming a little unsettling with how many people confess their love to him on a daily basis. Where were they even coming from…

Kyou had spent most of his life thinking about what he’d do if he could just choose a different zodiac - if he could change who he was and be someone different. Someone better. 

Had the question been asked months ago, years ago, he would have said the Rat - more specifically, Yuki. 

But… they were friends now, and the curse was gone for good; it didn’t matter if he was the Cat, and his cousin was the Rat and his other family members had filled in the other Zodiacs. 

Kyou was finally just Kyou, and that was more than enough.

“It makes no difference.” He smiled, because that was the best part about his future.
